ACIDOSIS: Why are our bodies so ACIDIC?

Today's modern diet is mainly composed of processed foods; in particular food preservatives. As by-products of these foods, acid wastes are the common denominator in all degenerative diseases since the liver simply cannot dispose of these toxic by-products. When acid wastes remain in the body, they accumulate and cause organs to malfunction and ultimately break down.

Our bodies live and die at the cellular level. Our cells must maintain alkalinity in order to function and remain

healthy and alive. Our bodies will go to great lengths to neutralize and detoxify acids before they act as poisons and harm our cells. Some of most common medical conditions associated with acidity are arthritis, gout, kidney disease, cancer, digestive ailments, and obesity.

What is ACIDOSIS?

Toxins that enter the body turn to acid which leads to acidosis and disease.
Beginning Symptoms of Acidosis include:
fatigue, headaches, bloating, acne, constipation, food allergies, panic attacks, slow circulation and joint pain.
Intermediate symptoms of acidosis include:
asthma, bronchitis, insomnia, psoriasis, fungus, depression, cold sores.
Advanced symptoms of acidosis include:
cancer, fibromyalgia, weight gain, multiple sclerosis, arthritis, diabetes, lupus, leukemia, heart disease and migraines.

According to Dr. Robert O. Young's book, "Sick and Tired", the New Biology, most simply stated, is that the over-acidification of the body is the single underlying cause of all disease. Dr. Young has found that when the body is in healthy alkaline balance, germs are unable to get a foothold.

Low PH Balance leads to acidosis
7.0 - 7.4 ph = optimum health and energy
6.8 ph = beginning of metabolic acidosis
6.4 ph = impaired digestion, hard to lose weight
6.0 ph = 10 times less oxygen to the cells
5.5 ph = extreme acidosis, cancer and degenerative disease
5.0 ph = 100 times less oxygen to the cells and life threatening
(You can test and monitor your ph balance with litmus paper)

Cancer, candida, yeast, mold, fungus, viruses, bacteria and parasites cannot survive in a ph of 7.0 or above.

How to AVOID ACIDOSIS?

Work to eliminate or avoid acidic foods such as artificial sweeteners, beer, coffee, meat, soft drinks, tea, and vinegar.

Secondly, attempt to consume more alkalizing foods such as green leafy vegetables, vegetable juices, lemons, olive oil, green tea, lemon water, onions, asparagus, almonds, etc.

An Acid-Alkaline balance diet that consists of 75% of alkaline versus 25% of acid foods can greatly help to create a healthier you.
